Anyone else have FOMO in reverse with Bitcoin?

I keep noticing something odd about how I react to the market. When Bitcoin goes up, I’m relaxed. I actually enjoy it. No urge to chase anything, no stress.

But when the price drops, I don’t get scared. I get stressed because I feel I have to buy more. I see it as a discount, and suddenly every Euro I have wants to run into BTC. My goal is to stack one full Bitcoin, so every dip feels like a time-limited opportunity. The pressure comes from myself, not from the market.

For context: I only do spot buys. My portfolio is about half BTC and half ETFs. At least it used to be. I haven’t bought ETFs in a long time because they’re performing well, and I keep funnelling everything into BTC instead. I know that’s not ideal long term, but the psychology of dips hits me harder than I expected.

I’m thinking about stopping chart-watching altogether and just setting up an automatic plan. Not because I expect magic, but because I’m tired of this internal push to “catch every dip”.

How do you handle this kind of reverse FOMO? Anyone else deal with the same pattern?
