Unfair liquidation and system malfunction on Binance Futures (October 10–11, 2025)

I’m posting this now that I’ve been authorised to share my case right here.

During October 10–11, 2025, I experienced an unfair liquidation on Binance Futures brought on by what seemed to be a system malfunction. The stop-loss and position-close features did not execute properly, and the platform offered no well timed notification of the disruption. Consequently, my positions have been force-liquidated, leading to losses exceeding 17,000 USDT.

Binance later provided a partial compensation of 1,000 USDT, however with no clear rationalization of the basis trigger or how that quantity was decided. A number of other users have reported comparable failures across the similar period, which means that this was not an remoted challenge but a systemic technical fault.

To make sure the matter is correctly reviewed underneath regulatory requirements, I have filed a formal grievance with the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). This publish just isn't meant to assault Binance, but to document the difficulty publicly and ask for transparency and truthful remedy for all affected users.

I sincerely hope Binance offers an official assertion or a detailed incident report clarifying what happened throughout this outage.
